The RST CleanTech system is designed to make sure you get the most out of your solar panels while preserving your panel warranty.
The RST system cleans at least once a week which keeps dirt, dust, bird excrement, etc. (as known as soiling) from forming on the panels. The result is that more light gets to your panels and production can be significantly higher. The RST system cleans automatically – no need for scheduling appointments or having people on your roof.
The system is warranty compliant because it clips to the solar panel frame and does not interact with the solar array – similar to a phone cover onto a phone. It uses a minimal amount of water and runs on water pressure. It is designed to run for the lifetime of the solar array with little to no maintenance. The filter and 2(AA) batteries need to be replaced each year.
RST CleanTech pays itself off quickly – and if installed with the solar array, it is eligible for the ITC (Investment Tax Credit). It works with all types of solar panels, and installation usually only takes a few hours, depending on the size of your solar array.
